Nate Frazier reaches five touchdowns at record pace

Georgia lists Nate Frazier as a junior running back after a 2026 start that included five rushing touchdowns within his first 12 carries. According to his Georgia roster profile, that made him the fastest Bulldogs player to reach five rushing scores in the program’s modern history, dating to 1960.

Frazier opened the season with 72 yards and three touchdowns on four carries against Tennessee State. After 55 yards and a score on six attempts against Western Kentucky, he ran 14 times for 75 yards and another touchdown in Georgia’s road win at Arkansas.

His workload changed after that opening stretch. Frazier did not play against Oklahoma or Alabama, then recorded two carries for nine yards against Vanderbilt and nine rushes for 19 yards against Auburn. In Georgia’s win over Florida, he had 12 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown, plus one reception for 10 yards.

The 2025 season established Frazier as a regular part of Georgia’s offense. He started 10 of 14 games, rushing 158 times for 861 yards and six touchdowns while catching 13 passes for 74 yards and another score. SEC coaches placed him on their All-SEC Third Team.

His biggest rushing performance that season came at Mississippi State, where he gained a career-high 181 yards and scored once. He also ran for 108 yards at Georgia Tech and produced 86 rushing yards with three receptions for 42 yards against Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl.

Frazier earned SEC All-Freshman Team recognition in 2024 after appearing in 13 games and starting three. His freshman season included 136 yards and three touchdowns against UMass, along with the game-winning two-point conversion in the eighth overtime of Georgia’s victory over Georgia Tech.
