Isiah Canion removed from Georgia availability report
Canion dressed but did not play against Florida, while seven Bulldogs carry injury designations before the Ole Miss game.

Georgia wide receiver Isiah Canion was removed from the SEC availability report Thursday night after initially being listed as probable for Saturday’s game against Ole Miss.
Canion dressed against Florida last week but did not play. He last appeared against Arkansas and has three receptions for 28 yards this season. Fellow receiver Thomas Blackshear remains questionable with the collarbone injury he sustained against Vanderbilt on Oct. 3.
Running back Chauncey Bowens is questionable with a foot injury and has not played since the Vanderbilt game. Nate Frazier and Dwight Phillips each rushed for 67 yards against Florida, while Bo Walker contributed 27 yards and a touchdown. Walker has replaced some of Bowens’ production in Georgia’s past two wins.
Tight end Elyiss Williams, defensive end Joseph Jonah-Ajonye and linebacker AJ Kruah remain questionable after Georgia added all three to the report Wednesday. Williams has 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season. If he cannot play, Georgia is expected to rely more heavily on Lawson Luckie, Jaden Reddell and Ethan Barbour at tight end.
Jonah-Ajonye often works behind Gabe Harris, with Isaiah Gibson positioned as the next option at defensive end. Kruah primarily contributes on special teams, while Raylen Wilson, Chris Cole and Justin Williams give Georgia depth at linebacker.
Defensive back Tyriq Green is questionable with an ankle injury. Outside linebacker Amaris Williams, an Auburn transfer who has not played this season, is out with a knee injury.
The SEC will release another availability report Friday, followed by the final update 90 minutes before kickoff. Georgia and Ole Miss are scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday on ABC.
Why it matters
Canion’s removal adds a receiving option for Georgia, though he has three catches for 28 yards this season. The Bulldogs still have several questionable players across the offense, defense and special teams before facing Ole Miss.
What to watch next
The SEC will issue another availability report Friday and a final update 90 minutes before Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
